So I went running today in 23 degree temperature and it was snowy. You don’t see a lot of joggers out when the streets are wet and slick, and the wind is so fast and cold you can’t show your teeth. In a freezing city like Chicago, you take what you can get.
I have worked hard in my life to refine what gives me joy and pleasure. For me, joy comes from the gratefulness of all the gifts in the world around. For some, this picture is not so pretty. For me, it is divine and I am so grateful to have experienced it.
